The next day the left overs where sauteed in the cast iron skillet with pineapple bits. AND IT WAS AWESOME unfortunately i forgot to take a photo until there was like one bite left.
My very first (personally cooked) apple pie. Yes that is a pillsbury frozen pie crust…. but this was Thanksgiving I think I got a small pass don’t you?
Followed by sweet potato souffle. While I use to put a cup of brown and white sugar this time I just added half cup of brown sugar. I had to have sweet potato souffle but obviously i really cut down that sugar content this time.
Our Turkey was grilled. My husband did a fantastic job with the seasoning as always and it was moist as a turkey should be.
OH yeah and look at that slice of pie!! IT WAS SO GOOD! I will link the recipe soon.
